Six women gathered to bid a good friend goodbye. Twenty years of friendship that only the death of the body can separate. Teary-eyed women, with reading glasses on, and talking about Auntie’s last few days in this world. They weren’t the best of days but for some reason they were light. Her passing wasn’t a struggle; it was peaceful. Her life was simply spent in service to those she loved dearly. Now it is time to serve her… with time and respect, for the last time.
Auntie, you got your wings now. Enjoy flying!written 31 January 2010, 9:48pm
